Boot-bags sit on soft anti slip matting its 4mm thick and prevents any paint damage to your boot-lid.

The first stage is to lay out the three straps your boot-bag is supplied with, its best to do this with the boot full as the straps will take the shortest route from one side of the boot to the other.

The next stage is to place the anti slip matting on the boot lid the 6 ends of the three straps inside the boot can be seen.

Now attach the 6 strap ends to the ladder lock buckles on top of the bag, these are like those on a rucksack and once pulled tight won't come loose.

Once the six strap ends are pulled tight remove the shoulder strap from the top of the bag.

Its even possible to open the boot with the bag attached. Boot-bag is fine on cars with a L shaped boot like this BMW just fill the boot before you lay the straps out
