The Boot-bag group was established in 2008 it all started with the boot-bag, a waterproof luggage bag that straps to the boot lid without a rack. All a rack does is give you a way of attaching a bag to the car anyway.

After many years of travelling to Le-Mans in our MX5 we bought more gear, every year we ended up with a black bin liner strapped to the a chrome boot rack it was guaranteed to leak, tear and flap, make a very annoying sound over 30mph, and the boot-rack chipped the side of our boot-lid.

We decided to look around for an alternative but found there wasn't one. What we really needed was a bag we could attach to the boot, all the chrome boot-rack did was allow us to attach a bag to the rack, so we thought why not just attach the bag to the boot lid. We are on the fifth germination of boot-bag its a totally waterproof bag, the soft non slip mat protects your boots paintwork.For customer feedback since 2008 see testimonials. Boot-bag is a tried and tested solution with over 20,000 sold.

We soon realised that some customers still needed a rack so in 2010 we started to import the spring range of luggage racks from Italy on an exclusive basis and sourced UK made classic racks.

In 2016 we started to manufacture our own luggage rack the Revo-Rack this attaches without clamps, straps or brackets. It uses vacuum cup technology developed in the late 1960's to secure to your car. Revo-Rack is perfect for modern sports cars with small panel gaps that make using a conventional rack without paint damage impossible. The rack was tested to ISO 11154 2006 the international standard for roof carriers in 2018 and passed all the tests the only luggage rack to do so. 

In 2020 we started our Dutch subsidiary The boot-bag group BV to enable us to trade with our EU & American friends post Brexit. All EU / USA orders are shipped from our Dutch based warehouse near Rotterdam.
