The moderns racks are 108x42cm in size and can fit any boot-lid between 100cm/39" & 135cm/53" in width.
What's most impressive about this rack is the quality of the finish and the simple but very effective design the rack uses to attach to the boot lid. The rack has four feet that can swivel and simply clamp onto the edge of your Audi's boot-lid. The fixing points the feet attach too simply slide along the rails and like the fit are held in place with a bolt. The luggage racks feet are powder coated to reduce the risk of any damage to your A4's boot lid.
As the A4 has a shallow boot lid its not possible to operate the roof with the rack fitted, this is the shallowest rack we know of on the market at 42cm the boot can be opened 70% with the rack fitted right at the rear of the boot lid as shown. ( A boot-bag original is only 36cm deep and it is possible to operate the roof / open the boot )

The boot-bag sits on soft non slip matting to protect paintwork its 4mm thick and slightly bigger than the bag no metal hooks or clips to damage paint with this Audi A4 Cabriolet luggage rack system.
boot-bag is supplied with 3 straps lay these out across your open boot.
Then place the boot-bag and matting onto the boot lid, the matting is slightly bigger than the bag. The bag has a zip on 3 sides thats covered by a flap held in place by velco make sure the logo is showing on the right. The side of the bag without the zip faces into the wind.
Then take the ends of the webbing and attach to the 6 ladder lock buckles on top of the bag. These are the same as you would find on a quality rucksack and once the webbing is tight it won't come loose. Detach the shoulder strap.
boot-bag is fully waterproof the two patches on top of the bag are sown then welded so no water can leak through the stitching.
Its even possible to open the boot with the bag attached. Boot-bag is fine on cars with a L shaped boot like this Honda just fill the boot before you lay the straps out.
