Boot-bag for BMW 4 Series
Boot-bag is a waterproof luggage bag that straps to the boot lid of your 4 series without a rack. Cars have evolved in many ways over the past 50 years yet, the boot rack has remained unchanged. All it allows you to do is fix a bag to the your car by first fixing the rack to the car, in 2008 we thought 'why not just fix the bag to the boot ?' and boot-bag was born. We have sold over 25,000 since then.
There are two sizes in the range :
original - £124.95 / 144.95€ / $161.95 - 50 Litres of additional luggage capacity measures 70x36x20cm ( 28"x15"x8") giving 50 litres (1.75 cubic feet) of additional storage. The soft non slip mat the bag sits on is slightly bigger measuring 80x40cm.
vacation - £154.95 / 174.95€ / $194.95 - 75 Litres of additional luggage capacity, its 50% larger than the boot-bag original measuring 90x40x20cm. (36"x16"x8") The soft mat measures 90x45cm.

Revo-Rack BMW 4 Series Cabriolet Luggage Rack £329.95 or £389.95
This rack manufactured by us in the UK is made from 25mm Aluminium & Magnesium tube and only weighs 1.7kg The design of this rack allows it to fit in under 30 seconds, no bolts, no brackets, no straps = no paint damage. Revo-Rack is available in either a black finish or a version thats hand polished and anodised for a deep shine.
The rack uses unique vacuum cup technology. It sits on three vacuum cups these are rated as being able to hold an 18kg load each thus the rack can in theory hold a 54kg load. Vacuum cups are not the same as suction cups they are much much stronger and were developed in the late 1960's to hold film camera's to cars. Revo-Rack has been independently safety tested by TUV Italy. Along with braking and speed tests to a loaded rack they applied a 645N force. A lifting force of around 65kg/145lbs for 10 minutes to a Revo-Rack with a 25kg load on it the rack stayed secure and did not bend or deform. If attached properly Revo-Rack is as secure if not more secure than a traditional clamp rack.
Unlike suction cups that produce a vacuum as they pull away from the surface, Revo-Racks vacuum cups use a hand-actuated pump to efficiently remove air from between the rubber pad and the attaching boot/trunk lid thus creating a much more reliable hold. Because the full face of the pad is brought into contact with the boot/trunk lid, distortion is reduced, allowing the cup to be used with very little risk of damage.

The boot-bag sits on soft non slip matting to protect paintwork its 4mm thick and slightly bigger than the bag no metal hooks or clips to damage paint with this boot luggage rack for BMW
boot-bag is supplied with 3 straps lay these out across your open boot.
Then place the boot-bag and matting onto the boot lid, the matting is slightly bigger than the bag. The bag has a zip on 3 sides thats covered by a flap held in place by velco make sure the logo is showing on the right. The side of the bag without the zip faces into the wind.
Then take the ends of the webbing and attach to the 6 ladder lock buckles on top of the bag. These are the same as you would find on a quality rucksack and once the webbing is tight it won't come loose. Detach the shoulder strap.
boot-bag is fully waterproof the two patches on top of the bag are sown then welded so no water can leak through the stitching.
Its even possible to open the boot with the bag attached. Boot-bag is fine on cars with a L shaped boot like this Honda just fill the boot before you lay the straps out.
