The 'boot-bag' - BMW Z4 luggage carrier
We make a unique BMW Z4 luggage carrier alternative the boot-bag. Boot-bag is a waterproof luggage bag that straps to the boot lid of your Z4 without a rack. Cars have evolved in many ways over the past 50 years yet, the boot rack has remained unchanged. All it allows you to do is fix a bag to the your car by first fixing the rack to the car, in 2008 we thought 'why not just fix the bag to the boot ?' and boot-bag was born. We also manufacture a unique luggage rack for both generations of the Z4 Revo Rack, this attaches without clamps brackets or straps please see below.
There are two sizes in the boot-bag range :
original - £124.95 50 Litres of additional luggage capacity measures 70x36x20cm ( 28"x15"X8") giving 50 litres (1.75 cubic feet) of additional storage. The soft non slip mat the bag sits on is slightly bigger measuring 80x40cm.
vacation - £154.95 - 75 Litres of additional luggage capacity, its 50% larger than the boot-bag original measuring 90x40x20cm. (36"x16"x8") The soft mat measures 90x45cm.

We manufacture the unique Revo Rack ourselves, it attaches using vacuum cup technology and fits in 60 seconds. Vacuum cups are very very different to suction cups, you physically pump the air our of the cup using a small pump. the rack can be fitted in 30 seconds.

The Supports :
The rack is secured to your BMW's boot/trunk lid using three 115mm vacuum cups, rated by the manufacturer as capable of holding an 18kg/40lb load each.
Vacuum cups employ the force of atmospheric pressure to grip a surface: When a vacuum exists between the cup and the surface on which it is attached, the weight of Earth's atmosphere holds the cup in place with incredible force. Unlike suction cups that produce a vacuum as they pull away from the surface, Revo-Racks vacuum cups use a hand-actuated pump to efficiently remove air from between the rubber pad and the attaching surface thus creating a much more reliable hold. Because the full face of the pad is brought into contact with the surface, distortion is reduced, allowing the cup to be used with very little risk of damage to your boot lid.

The boot-bag sits on soft non slip matting to protect paintwork its 4mm thick and slightly bigger than the bag no metal hooks or clips to damage paint with this BMW Z4 luggage carrier system.
boot-bag is supplied with 3 straps lay these out across your open boot.
Then place the boot-bag and matting onto the boot lid, the matting is slightly bigger than the bag. The bag has a zip on 3 sides thats covered by a flap held in place by velco make sure the logo is showing on the right. The side of the bag without the zip faces into the wind.
Then take the ends of the webbing and attach to the 6 ladder lock buckles on top of the bag. These are the same as you would find on a quality rucksack and once the webbing is tight it won't come loose. Detach the shoulder strap.
boot-bag is fully waterproof the two patches on top of the bag are sown then welded so no water can leak through the stitching.
Its even possible to open the boot with the bag attached. Boot-bag is fine on cars with a L shaped boot like this Honda just fill the boot before you lay the straps out.
