The 'boot-bag' - Audi TT Roadster Luggage system
Boot-bag is a waterproof luggage bag that straps to the boot lid of your Audi TT without a rack. Cars have evolved in many ways over the past 50 years yet, the boot rack has remained unchanged. All it allows you to do is fix a bag to the your car by first fixing the rack to the car, in 2008 we thought 'why not just fix the bag to the boot ?' and boot-bag was born. We have sold over 25,000 since then. (The MK2/typ 8n roadster must have the spoiler in manual mode when the boot-bag is fitted, it can't move with the boot-bag attached )
There are two sizes in the range :
original - £124.95 - 50 Litres of additional luggage capacity measures 70x36x20cm ( 28"x15"X8") giving 50 litres (1.75 cubic feet) of additional storage. The soft non slip mat the bag sits on is slightly bigger measuring 80x40cm.
vacation - £154.95 - 75 Litres of additional luggage capacity, its 50% larger than the boot-bag original measuring 90x40x20cm. (36"x16"x8") The soft mat measures 90x45cm.
Boot-bag won't fit the MK3 TT due to the spoiler our racks do however.

The rack is 108x42cm in size and can fit any boot-lid between 100cm/39" & 135cm/53" in width. What's most impressive about this car rack is the quality of the finish and the simple but very effective design the rack uses to attach to the boot lid. The rack has four feet that can swivel and simply clamp onto the edge of your Audi TT's boot-lid. The fixing points the feet attach too simply slide along the rails and are held in place with a bolt. The racks will fit cars with straight and curved edges and are powder coated to reduce the risk of any damage to your Audi TT's boot lid.These luggage racks are designed to carry a load of 20-25kg.

The boot-bag sits on soft non slip matting to protect paintwork its 4mm thick and slightly bigger than the bag no metal hooks or clips to damage paint with this Audi TT Roadster luggage system.
boot-bag is supplied with 3 straps lay these out across your open boot.
Then place the boot-bag and matting onto the boot lid, the matting is slightly bigger than the bag. The bag has a zip on 3 sides thats covered by a flap held in place by velco make sure the logo is showing on the right. The side of the bag without the zip faces into the wind.
Then take the ends of the webbing and attach to the 6 ladder lock buckles on top of the bag. These are the same as you would find on a quality rucksack and once the webbing is tight it won't come loose. Detach the shoulder strap.
boot-bag is fully waterproof the two patches on top of the bag are sown then welded so no water can leak through the stitching.
Its even possible to open the boot with the bag attached. Boot-bag is fine on cars with a L shaped boot like this Honda just fill the boot before you lay the straps out.
