Boot-bag is a waterproof luggage bag that straps to the boot lid of your 350z/370z convertible without a rack. Cars have evolved in many ways over the past 50 years yet, the boot rack has remained unchanged. All it allows you to do is fix a bag to the your car by first fixing the rack to the car, in 2008 we thought 'why not just fix the bag to the boot ?' and boot-bag was born. There are two sizes in the boot-bag range :

Vacation - £154.95 / 174.95€ / $194.95 - 75 Litres of additional luggage capacity,50% larger than the boot-bag original measuring 90x40x20cm.(36"x16"x8") The soft fabric mat measures 90x45cm.

We manufacture a unique luggage rack that fits both the 350z and later 370z the Revo-Rack. Revo-Rack fits to your Nissan using vacuum cup technology and can carry a 20kg load. the rack fits in less than 30 seconds without clamps straps or any tools. It eliminates the risk of paint damage, caused by steel clamps or straps on the boot/trunk lid edge/surface. We manufacture the rack and its available in either a black finish thats powder coated or a version thats hand polished and then anodised for a deep shine.
Revo-Rack has been independently tested by TUV Italy part of the global TUV testing and certification business. The rack went through speed, braking and force tests, to ISO 11154:2006 the international standard for car roof bars and the European Directive for general safety 2002/95/CE. Revo-Rack passed all these tests : It won't fly off !

The Rack Frame :
This luggage rack is manufactured from 25mm/ 1" T5 tubing this is an aluminium and magnesium alloy ( it will never rust ) As a result the rack frame weighs only 1.672kg / 3.6lb perfect for todays aluminium and composite boot/trunk lids. The cross bars are machine welded in place to ensure consistency, the rack is powder coated black. The rack measures 900x420mm / 36"x17"
The Supports :
The rack is secured to your Z's boot/trunk lid using three 115mm vacuum cups, rated as capable of holding an 18kg/40lb load each, technically the rack can hold 54kg. The vacuum cup technology that Revo-Rack uses has existed for over 40 years it was developed in the film industry in the late 1960's to hold film camera's to cars, and is still in use today.
Vacuum cups employ the force of atmospheric pressure to grip a surface: When a vacuum exists between the cup and the surface on which it is attached, the weight of Earth's atmosphere holds the cup in place with incredible force. These are not suction cups that produce a vacuum as they pull away from the surface.
The Revo-Racks vacuum cup's pump feature a plunger with a red line, which serves as a vacuum indicator. A few strokes of the plunger evacuate the vacuum pad, causing it to seal securely to the attaching surface. When the cup is attached completely, the plunger stops moving and the red line is hidden within the pump. A visible red line indicates if air has leaked back into the pad, making vacuum insufficient to use the cup. However, if the red line becomes visible while the cup is in use, a check valve allows the user to re pump the cup without losing the remaining vacuum.
Lifting on the release tabs near the edge of the pad allows air to refill the evacuated space, so that the vacuum cup detaches completely. The racks sits 7.5cm / 3" off the boot/trunk lid

The boot-bag sits on soft non slip matting to protect paintwork its 4mm thick and slightly bigger than the bag no metal hooks or clips to damage paint with this Nissan 350z luggage rack system.
The soft base of the boot-bag has no clips or studs to damage paintwork, with the addition of the anti slip mat there is zero risk of damage, over 8 years of sales prove this.
boot-bag is supplied with 3 straps lay these out across your open boot.
Then place the boot-bag and matting onto the boot lid, the matting is slightly bigger than the bag. The bag has a zip on 3 sides thats covered by a flap held in place by velco make sure the logo is showing on the right. The side of the bag without the zip faces into the wind.
Then take the ends of the webbing and attach to the 6 ladder lock buckles on top of the bag. These are the same as you would find on a quality rucksack and once the webbing is tight it won't come loose. Detach the shoulder strap.
boot-bag is fully waterproof the two patches on top of the bag are sown then welded so no water can leak through the stitching.
Its even possible to open the boot with the bag attached. Boot-bag is fine on cars with a L shaped boot like this Honda just fill the boot before you lay the straps out.
